Cisco Prime Collaboration Assurance Input Validation Flaw Lets Remote Users Conduct Cross-Site Scripting Attacks

A vulnerability has been identified in Cisco Prime Collaboration Assurance and this could be exploited by remote attackers to conduct a cross-site scripting attack. The vulnerability resides in the web-based management interface of Cisco Prime Collaboration Assurance and is caused due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input by the web-based management interface of an affected device. This vulnerability can be exploited by persuading a user of the interface to click a crafted link. Successful exploitation of the vulnerability can allow an attacker to execute arbitrary script code in the context of the interface or allow the attacker to access sensitive browser-based information.
