Completed Training on Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI)

The Computer Emergency Response Team of Mauritius (CERT-MU), in collaboration with the International Telecommunications Union (ITU), organised an international training program on Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI). This hands-on training was delivered by the staff of CERT-MU from 30 June to 4 July 2025 at the Hennessy Park Hotel, Ebène.

This initiative was conducted through the Capacity Development for Digital Transformation project, funded by the European Union (EU), and brought together professionals and experts from around the globe. The training aimed to strengthen participants’ understanding of CTI concepts, tools, and practices, with a focus on real-world application and international collaboration.

This capacity-building initiative also covered key topics such as the CTI lifecycle, intelligence frameworks, threat sharing protocols, and the practical use of CTI platforms like MISP (Malware Information Sharing Platform). Special attention was given to the challenges of cyber threat intelligence in a cross-border context and the importance of timely information sharing.

Throughout the training, participants engaged in interactive sessions, group exercises, and practical demonstrations to enhance their operational knowledge and analytical skills in threat intelligence.
