Upcoming training on Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI)
The Computer Emergency Response Team of Mauritius (CERT-MU) in collaboration with the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) is organising an international training program on Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI). This hands-on training will be delivered by the staffs of CERT-MU from 30 June to 4 July 2025 at the Hennessy Park Hotel, Ebène. This initiative is being conducted through the Capacity Development for Digital Transformation project, funded by the European Union (EU) and it will bring together professionals and experts from around the globe. The training will aim to strengthen participants’ understanding of CTI concepts, tools, and practices, with a focus on real-world application and international collaboration. This capacity-building initiative will also cover key topics such as the CTI lifecycle, intelligence frameworks, threat sharing protocols, and the practical use of CTI platforms like MISP (Malware Information Sharing Platform). Special attention will be given to the challenges of cyber threat intelligence in a cross-border context and the importance of timely information sharing. Throughout the training, participants will engage in interactive sessions, group exercises, and practical demonstrations to enhance their operational knowledge and analytical skills in threat intelligence.
