The role of CSIRTs in the implementation of UN technical norms and confidence-building measures (CBMs)

The Computer Emergency Response Team of Mauritius (CERT-MU), a department under the aegis of the Ministry of Information Technology, Communication and Innovation in collaboration with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) will be conducting a 3 days training on “The role of CSIRTs in the implementation of UN technical norms and confidence-building measures (CBMs)” from 27 – 29 August 2025. The aim of the training is to allow participants to acquire essential knowledge to implement the UN technical norms and CBMs and the focus will be specially on technical norms and CBMs which apply to CERTS/CSIRTs or any other national team entrusted with the responsibility of protecting their cyberspace. The training will be conducted online through the ITU Academy platform and it will be free of charge. At the end of the registration exercise, some 154 participants from 74 different countries including Mauritius had shown their interest to follow the training.
